On Saturday, November 2, come ride with Monarch Racing, Ali Tetrick, Helena Gilbert-Synder, and friends as we celebrate getting #MoreGirlsOnBikes and supporting the future of women’s cycling. This is a ROAD BIKE ride.

Together, thanks to a generous grant that Saga Ventures recieved from Gainbridge Assists powered by Parity and the Women’s Sports Foundation , we are more committed than ever in building opportunities for girls in cycling — from scholarships and mentorship to equipment and community. This event kicks off that mission, and we’d love for you to be part of it! Meet the Monarch Racing junior racing team, and join the community for the beginning of something HUGE. Celebrate bikes, community, and opportunity.

9:30 AM – Meet & Greet + Check-in
Come early to meet the riders, grab a coffee, sign waivers, purchase raffle tickets, and pre-order your sandwiches at Charley’s Wine Country Deli. (Please don’t park in Charley’s lot or the surrounding restaurants— there’s plenty of street parking nearby and across the street at the park—see below for more details on parking!)

10:00 AM – Roll Out!
Choose your own adventure:

• — led by Helena and Ali, perfect for juniors, new riders, and community cruisers. All paved. I will be riding my Specialized S-Works Roubaix SL8.
• — for those ready to go the distance! Or do whatever Petaluma based ride you want to do! We don't make the rules!

12:00 PM – Return & Refuel
The junior group wraps up around noon — time to grab your sandwiches, snacks, and a beverage.

12:15 PM – Lunch & Raffle!
Stick around for sandwiches, prizes, and community time. Win entries to local events, gear from sponsors like ROAD ID, JAMBAR, Sea Otter Classic, Grasshopper Adventures Series, Lezyne, and Specialized, and some Monarch Racing swag.

🎟️ Raffle tickets available on-site — $5 and $10 options.
🏆 Prizes include event entries, gear, and local goodies.
🧢 CWGRL bandanas, tees, and Monarch Racing gear available for purchase.

This isn’t just a ride — it’s the start of something BIGGER.
Every pedal stroke helps open more doors for girls and women in cycling. Together, we’re growing the sport, building confidence, and creating community that lasts far beyond the finish line.

Come for the ride, stay for the purpose, and help us launch something big thanks to our incredible grant from Gainbridge Sports and Parity— one that starts right here in Petaluma.

• This is a free community ride open to all riders and skill levels.
• Helmets required. Smiles encouraged.
• Please bring water, snacks, and flat repair gear.
• Sandwich pre-orders available for $15** (veggie, salami, turkey, roast beef, ham, and they have many other speciality sandwihes and other goodies).
• Parking: Please do not park in Charley’s lot or in front of local restaurants or stores. Street parking nearby is plentiful. Park across the street at the park for bathrooms.
