IN-PERSON TRAINING: Aligning Funding Strategy with Contracting Plans

DC businesses are invited to join Mei and Paola from 20 Degrees to learn how to choose the right funding at the right time.
>>> Starts at 3:15PM and Ends at 4:14PM

Provision of this training and related consultations are supported by DSLBD's Ward 8 Community Investment Fund (CIF) Back Office Support Services (BOSS) program.

Who May Attend? How to become a Client?

For this and other TRAININGS, any DC-based business may attend regardless of ward.

To meet experts for CONSULTATIONS or SMALL GROUP GUIDANCE, DC businesses in all Wards must become a client, which is FREE! Use sign-up form for your ward:

  • Businesses in Ward 8, use form at Ward 8 CIF BOSS client form
  • Businesses in Wards 1 through 7, use form at District Capitalized client form.

It may take DSLBD 1-3 business days to review and approve client request forms.

About Ward 8 CIF BOSS

The Ward 8 Community Investment Fund (CIF) Back Office Support Services (Ward 8 CIF BOSS) is an initiative of the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) to help Ward 8 residents operating Ward 8 businesses build their business' financial management skills through FREE service with business financial advisory experts:

  • Classes (instructor led)
  • Consultations (one-on-one and small group guidance)
  • e-Courses (online, self-paced)

DSLBD will offer these in-person and virtual services February - June 2026.
