Alicia Wrigley brings her bassist/vocalist’s take on the music that made her fall in love with jazz, the criminally underrated hard bop sound of Hank Mobley. The evening will feature Alicia’s original arrangements of old standards and vocal versions of Mobley’s originals, as well as classic renditions of selections from Mobley’s albums “Soul Station,” “Workout” and “Roll Call.” Joining Alicia will be Jake Saslow on tenor sax, Parker Swenson on drums, and Tony Ellison on piano.
