ALICE RENDE (FR): FORA prezentacija rada u nastajanju u sklopu circusnext platforme

U Pogonu Jedinstvo od 13. do 19. ožujka na rezidenciji u sklopu circusnext platforme, Cirkorama ugošćuje francusko - brazilsku umjetnicu Alice Rende, predslektiranu za circusnext ediciju 2023. Alice će ovih tjedan dana provesti u umjetničkom istraživanju za svoj solo projekt "Fora", a javnom prezentacijom 18.3. u 19:00, predstaviti će zagrebačkoj publici pronađeni izvedbeni materijal.
"Prisiljena na uvijanje kako bi se prilagodila preuskom prostoru, odlučuje pobjeći. Nakon uspješnog bijega, uvijanja ostaju poput jeke u njezinu tijelu. Između straha, zadovoljstva i iznenađenja, ona nastavlja prkositi svojim nevidljivim zidovima. "Fora" znači "vani" na portugalskom, katalonskom, sardinijskom... U ovom solo projektu uvijeni ( zgrčeni) pokret je očajnička strategija protiv dominacije, kao i počast onima koji se ne uklapaju."

ALICE RENDE
Nakon završenog studija na Brazilskoj nacionalnoj cirkuskoj školi i magistriranja izvedbenih umjetnosti na Federalnom sveučilištu u Rio de Janeiru, sudjelovala je u stvaranju predstave Silenzio u režiji Roberta Magra. Godine 2019. predstavila se performansom "Passages" na Grec festivalu u Barceloni. Zatim je nastavila s profesionalnim školovanjem na Ecole Supérieure des Arts du Cirque de Toulouse Occitanie, Esacto'Lido. Trenutno radi na doktoratu na temu vrtoglavice u cirkuskoj umjetnosti i radi na svojoj solo predstavi "Fora". Alice također podučava kontorcionistički pokret u institucijama za profesionalno usavršavanje kao što su FLIC Scuola di Circo (Torino / Italija), Nacionalna škola cirkusa u Châtelleraultu (Francuska) i Nacionalna škola cirkusa u Brazilu (Rio de Janeiro).

In Pogon Jedinstvo, from March 13 to 19, at the residence in the framework of the circusnext platform, Cirkorama hosts the French-Brazilian artist Alice Rende, pre-selected for the circusnext edition in 2023. Alice will spend this week in artistic research for her solo project "Fora", and through the public presentation on 18.3. at 19h she will present the found performance material to the Zagreb audience.
"Forced to contort herself to adapt to a too-narrow space, she decides to escape. Once outside, the twists remain like an echo in her body. Between fear, pleasure and surprise, she continues to defy her invisible walls. ‘Fora’ means outside in Portuguese, Catalan, Occitan, Sardinian… In this solo, the contorted movement is a desperate strategy against domination and a homage to those who misfit."

ALICE RENDE
After completing her studies at the Brazilian National Circus School and a master's degree in performing arts at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, she participated in the creation of "Silenzio" directed by Roberto Magro. In 2019, she performed "Passages" at the Grec festival in Barcelona. She then continued her professional education at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts du Cirque de Toulouse Occitanie, Esacto'Lido. Alice is currently working on his PhD on the subject of vertigo in circus art and on her solo show "Fora" . Alice also teaches the contortionist movement at professional training institutions such as the FLIC Scuola di Circo (Torino / Italy), the National Circus School of Châtellerault (France) and the National Circus School of Brazil (Rio de Janeiro).
