Every year on July 4th, Alice In Wonderland Day commemorates the date that Lewis Carroll first told his beloved story to Alice Liddell. Celebrate with us and dive into a world of wonder and whimsy as we read Alice in Wonderland stories together! This magical event is perfect for children of all ages, bringing to life the timeless adventures of Alice as she encounters curious characters and embarks on fantastical journeys.
We can't wait to see you and your little ones at Frankston Library for a fantastical journey down the rabbit hole!
Dressing up as Alice, the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit or the Queen of Hearts is encouraged in both adults and children alike. And while you are in the library, you can escape to Wonderland with our fun and free scavenger hunt!
Please book a ticket for each child attending. No need to book for the adults. Please note that a parent or carer will need to stay with each child throughout this event.
Children’s University Swinburne members can collect a stamp at this event.
Frankston City Libraries is proud to be able to provide workshops, information sessions and events FREE of charge to the community. Help us make this event a success by committing only if you can attend. If plans change, please cancel promptly to support our authors/facilitators in preparing for your participation. This will support the ongoing delivery of our programs. Thank you!
