About this Event
In this workshop led by Ali Kenner Brodsky, participants use their personal narrative as seeds for creating movement phrases.
Through guided explorations and improvisations, participants will be encouraged to use their stories and personal narratives to develop their own movement vocabulary—movement organic to the individual creating it.
We will utilize journaling, re-telling, and imagery as the impetus for movement phrases. We all have a story to tell...
Open to all skill levels and geared toward all interested in movement as a means of expression.
Saturday, November 22, at 3:00 PM (doors 2:30 PM), approximately 60 minutes.
$10 for MH Members, $15 for General Admission, no one turned away for lack of funds at the door.
Don't miss the first-ever full screening of Ali Kenner Brodky and Rich Ferri's five dance films later in the evening, on Saturday, November 22, at 7:00 PM.
