Lithuanian ALGIS FEDIAJEVAS returns to The Peer Hat. His music embodies the philosophy of what it means to be a free spirit. By exploring human kindness through hitchhiking and busking, he is inspired to write songs which question the reasons we are all here – but without that sense of arrogance or self-righteousness that suggests he has the answers. Inner thoughts and questions in his own native Lithuanian language, pose no barrier, with a music that is deep, primal and intrinsic. Vital.
Cumbrian guitarist Peter and London pianist Myriam formed LEILA’S DREAM – a psychedelic prog folk / post rock fusion collective that arose in Manchester.
Soundtracking their inspiration are the likes of Godspeed You! Black Emporer, Spirogyra, Sufjan Stevens and Nick Drake. Their wistful melodies and eery harmonies mean the group have spawned a beautiful sound that collects memories of the countryside fused with the city’s energy, and they have latched onto a sound that transcends geography and embraces storytelling, human nature, and instinct.
JUNE HOLLAND is an "independent artist and producer from a small town in the North West, UK with a voice described as unique and distinct with bluesy undertones". We think she's underselling herself. But then again, understated power and emotion is her thing.
