Welcome to La Milonguita!
Step into a traditional milonga where everything is designed to make you feel right at home. Begin the evening with a tango class, then dance the night away on our cozy wooden floor to carefully curated tandas—only the crème de la crème. Our lively cortinas, warm atmosphere, and friendly crowd make every night special.
Before the milonga, Alfonsina and Michael invite you to a one-hour workshop exploring the relationship between the embrace and the way we step.
In tango, connection lives in how weight travels through the body and in the different ways the foot meets the floor. When the step and the embrace support each other, movement becomes clearer, more adaptable, and easier to share with a partner. In this class we will explore how the quality of the step, the use of the floor, and the elasticity of the embrace can create a more coherent and responsive dance, with tools you can immediately bring into the milonga that follows.
