We're no strangers to Hurricanes here on the Gulf Coast, yet every year people scramble over bread, water, and milk in the grocery stores a day or two before potential landfall. Knowing the risks and having a plan before a storm even forms can keep you ahead of the storm instead of reacting in panic.Alexis Potaman is a graduate of the University of Texas and Texas A&M with a Masters in Environmental Resource Management. She is currently an Environmental Planner for a Civil Engineering Design firm. She has attended Houston Oasis since the summer of 2013 and is married with two kids. Alexis enjoys subversive cross stich and family history.
Houston Oasis is a secular community. Oasis welcomes everyone to join us for our weekly Sunday morning gathering which consists of discussion, a secular talk, coffee, and live music from some of Houston's best singer-songwriters.
Doors open at 10 for coffee and conversation. The Program begins at 10:30 in room 106 on the first (not ground!) floor of The Montrose Center. Kids are welcome to join our team in rm. 111 for age appropriate activities.
