Join Alexis Maxurin's family & friends as we celebrate the man, the myth, the Legend.

20 years a go we mourned his passing, today we still uplift his legacy, energy and all round epicness. Alexis is still Larger Than Life and still has the power to bring us all together.

We will celebrate with music, performances and some memories, while raising money for Alexis's Scholarship fund: This year’s Alexis Mazurin Award recognized outstanding audio documentaries that transported listeners to places that matter — from a tsunami’s impact in Port Alberni, to salmon conservation efforts, to the curling ice where Vancouver’s queer community finds connection. Each documentary had immersive sound, strong writing, and heartfelt storytelling.

We can't wait to be together again, throw a party Alexis would be proud of and send a huge boom of love to the Big Guy.
