Alexis Southall is back in Milton Keynes! Alexis is an incredible dancer, teacher and choreographer and I'm so excited that you get to experience all 3 of these incredible talents in this workshop.
That's right, this is your opportunity to learn a fantastic choreography and perform it (optional) alongside Alexis at Fuchsia's Charity Hafla!

Jazz Age 6/8 Choreography (2 hours)
Set to the beautiful music of Ta-Ku, learn a choreography on a 6/8 rhythm worthy of any Jazz Age beauty.
Elegant lines and shapes, sultry undulations and figure 8’s punctuated with sharp locks and speedy turns with a hint of jazz, and waacking-inspired arm patterns.
level - intermediate (this is based on the potentially unfamiliar 6/8 rhythm, and some fast paced patterns - however you will have the music shared in advance to help you get familiar with it, so if you're up for a fun challenge don't be put off!) 😍
a Facebook group will be set up so we can share music, info, etc before the workshop (group will go live early 2025)
there is no obligation to perform. learning a choreography can be a fun way to see another dancers interpretation of music, movement and staging - so you can gets lots out of this style of workshop if you decide not to perform **
