Alexandria Celebrates Women Salon with Mayor-Elect Alyia Gaskins

Join Alexandria Celebrates Women for ACW Salon, a monthly gathering of leading women thinkers and changemakers in an informal setting designed to spark conversation and collaboration.

The December Salon takes place on Friday, December 13 and will feature Alexandria Mayor-Elect Alyia Gaskins, who made history in November when she was elected the first black female mayor of the City of Alexandria. Retired Visit Alexandria President & CEO Patricia Washington will lead the conversation.

The event is free and open to all, and takes place at The Hub at Canal Center, located at 99 Canal Center in Old Town North. Networking begins at 6:30 p.m. and the program will run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Call to action: In the spirit of the season, participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the Alexandria Domestic Violence Safehouse pantry. Thank you for supporting this worthy cause!
