Discovered busking on the streets of Manchester, 17-year-old Alex Spencer has quickly emerged as one of the UK's most exciting new songwriters. Fusing catchy guitar riffs with his raw, street-savvy voice, Alex’s music captures the energy and emotion of youth, with lyrics that speak to the highs and lows of growing up. 2024 has been a breakthrough year for Alex. His sophomore EP “There’s Gotta Be More” has earned widespread acclaim from tastemaker outlets like CLASH Magazine, alongside notable radio support, including a live session with John Kennedy on Radio X and multiple single of the week honours on XS Manchester. His track “Love and Let Go” was also chosen by Chris Hawkins as BBC Radio 6’s Track of Dawn. On stage, Alex brings the same natural charisma that first won fans over as a busker.
