Alex Lopez and The Xpress(ALX): Renowned guitarist and songwriter Alex Lopez, with his band The Xpress, electrifies audiences with a blend of blues, rock, pop, and funk. Known for revitalizing blues for new generations, they mesmerize with melodic songs from Alex's 8 acclaimed albums, including two that were top ten on Billboard and several that were #1 on the blues radio charts. The concert will feature his just released album "Retro Revival" which sits at #1 on the blues radio charts. Expect a high-energy mix of new hits and blues rock classics in their unforgettable performance as Alex and the band deliver their special brand of blues infused British rock music!

Doug Deming and The Jewel Tones:

Eastside Detroit native Doug Deming, now hailing from Florida’s Gulf Coast, has garnered widespread attention for his deft guitar work and memorable songwriting. With a nod to the likes of T-Bone Walker and Charlie Christian, as well as Luther Tucker and Robert Jr. Lockwood, Doug leaves his own mark whether swingin’ on the big jazz box, or playing straight up blues on the solid body Fender guitar. Since playing the local Detroit scene beginning in the early 90’s, Doug has spent much of the following years touring and recording with top blues artists, including Fabulous Thunderbirds frontman Kim Wilson, legendary Louisiana swamp bluesman Lazy Lester, Texas' Gary Primich, Chicago greats Johnny “Yard Dog” Jones and A.C. Reed, as well as Detroit’s own Queen of the Blues, Alberta Adams. Leading his band The Jewel Tones, Doug continues to bring noteworthy traditional and original roots music to his audiences.

Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center is Sarasota’s premier "listening room," serving as a vibrant, community-run hub where music, art, and social activism intersect. Located in the Near North Sarasota area at 525 Kumquat Court, it shares a building with the listener-supported community radio station WSLR 96.5 FM. Fogartyville is known for its diverse Live Music: The venue hosts a wide range of genres, including Americana, folk, blues, jazz, and world music, featuring both local talent and nationally touring musicians. Described as having a "1960s coffeehouse vibe," the space is casual and unpretentious, often attracting a "laid-back" or "old hippie" crowd.
