Hailing from Los Angeles, Alex Isley comes from a musically-rich and versatile family. Her maternal grandmother was an opera singer, and began classically-training Alex at age 12, while her father, Ernie, and his brothers, are collectively the R&B/Funk pioneers, The Isley Brothers. Alex performed her own NPR Tiny Desk (Home Edition) in 2020 where she shared her soulful voice to the world. @lovealexisley recently released her joint album with Grammy nominated Jack Dine. Be sure to give 'Marigold' a listen!! She'll be coming to the historic underground music venue, Cafe du Nord, August 10!Joining her will be @zyahbelle. A local from the Bay Area, Zyah Belle has been producing her own music tying together juicy harmonies, groovy bass lines, and jazzy voice.
