Love craft beer, but want a better understanding of the styles you see out at your favorite breweries and bars? Join us at beer school!This class will focus on the basic building blocks of understanding beers styles: malt, hops, yeast, and even water. For each ingredient, we will explore its history in brewing, how it is cultivated and prepared for the brewing process, and the flavors and other attributes it brings to the finished beer.
The class is $30 to attend and includes an educational presentation, handouts, and a guided beer tasting. All attendees must be 21+ years old to attend. This class is led by Alewife Co-Owner Kelly Pickard, Certified Cicerone®. Tickets are non-refundable.
