Boulder Samba School presents Alessandro Penezzi, acclaimed Brazilian choro virtuoso and leading 7‑string guitarist, live in concert.ALESSANDRO PENEZZI is widely regarded as one of Brazil’s foremost exponents the country’s most sophisticated popular instrumental tradition -- Choro. His mastery of this demanding idiom, both as a soloist and accompanist, has earned him recognition at the highest levels of Brazil’s musical community. A multi-faceted composer and arranger and one of Brazil’s premier 7 string guitarist today, Alessandro is also a virtuoso on tenor guitar, cavaquinho, mandolin, and flute.
