About this Event
Come celebrate the release of Alden Harris-McCoy's first solo album "Martyr of Love" and Dash Hammerstein's self titled album with an opening set by the John Cushing Choir. Two artists, one special band featuring: Jamie Donald Eblen on drums, Cameron Carrus on bass, Christian Li on keys, and Josh Halper on guitar, with lots of special guests.
Alden Harris-McCoy is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Brooklyn. He has toured four continents singing and playing guitar with his old band The RT's, opening for Modest Mouse, They Might Be Giants, Buddy Guy, and Dr. Dog among others. His first solo album "Martyr of Love" was recorded with a live band in the studio to an eight track Fostex tape machine and features songs about love, aging Portland hippies, his dad, animals, and the weather. "Martyr of Love" is out nearly everywhere March 5th on Nosuch records.
Dash Hammerstein is a film composer and songwriter based in Brooklyn. He has scored films and shows for Netflix, Apple TV and Time Warner Hulumount Max. "Dash Hammerstein" is his tenth studio album to be released but the first with his name in it. It was recorded primarily by Dash but features a number of especial eguests, including Alden!
