ALCOHOL INKS WORKSHOP
Alcohol ink is a beautiful, meditative experience for all levels. This 3 part course will start with basic techniques and experimenting and move on to more advanced styles. Master the “wispy billows” style of flowing ink and find your own personal look. In this 3-session class we will use a variety of waterproof surfaces from Yupo paper to ceramic tiles of various shapes and sizes. Take home a colorful ink coaster or wall art piece.
During this 2 hour workshop, students will learn basic alcohol ink techniques. After a brief introduction and demonstration, students will have a chance to experiment with the inks to create their own unique colorful artworks. Paintings will be on square tiles and yupo paper.
