Alcohol Identification and Brief Advice Training

Welcome to the Alcohol Identification and Brief Advice Training event! Join us on Friday 21st June 2024 at 13:00pm at the Wellbeing Hub Nottingham.

This in-person training session will cover:

• Understanding units
• Understanding drinking risk levels
• Interpreting where people sit on the risk scale
• How to have discussions with people about their result
• Having an open conversation about whether the individual wants to make changes
• Tips for cutting down
• How to signpost and refer to specialist substance use services

This training session is free of charge and available to all professionals that support the residents of Nottingham City.
