Alcohol IBA Training (For Nottingham City Professionals Only)

Welcome to the Alcohol Identification and Brief Advice Training event! Join us on Friday 29th November 2024 at 09:30am at the Wellbeing Hub Nottingham.

This in-person training session will cover:

• Understanding units
• Understanding drinking risk levels
• Interpreting where people sit on the risk scale
• How to have discussions with people about their result
• Having an open conversation about whether the individual wants to make changes
• Tips for cutting down
• How to signpost and refer to specialist substance use services

This training session is free of charge and available to all health and social care professionals that support Nottingham City residents.
