About this Event
This course outlines how workers can identify alcohol-related harm and how they can help drinkers address and manage their drinking problems.
The course is appropriate for staff in all services who work with older people who are at risk of alcohol-related harm.
This training is provided by Together UK, Norfolk County Council and Change Grow Live as part of the Housing Related Support provision and will be delivered by Mike Ward from Alcohol Change
Face to face session - no virtual alternative.
Location: The Horatio Suite, Great Yarmouth Racecourse
Time: Arrival is at 9:15 for a 9:30 start
Morning and afternoon tea/coffee will be available. Lunch provided

Please note;
- This training is very popular and gets booked up quickly. Whilst this training is free to you, there is a lot of work and cost involved. If attendance is poor, it will have an impact on being able to provide events like this in the future.
- If you cannot attend for any reason prior to the day, please cancel your space as soon as possible via Eventbrite so that others have the opportunity to attend.
- If you book a place and do not attend in full, you will be charged a fee of £100.
- Booking your place confirms you have approved this with your line manager .
- Please be aware; photos will be taken at the event and a list of all the professional attendees, their organisations and email address will be emailed to all after the event for their own ‘useful contact sheet’.
- Each attendee will get a ‘Certificate of Attendance’ once the feedback form is completed following the event.
