🌖 The ‘Alchemy Through Myth’ event is an invitation to drink deeply from the living waters of myth - to remember what has been scattered, forgotten or silenced within us and within our cultures.
🌗 The event, which is an immersive ritual of mythic exploration and enactment, unfolds as part of the dissemination of ‘Mythomorphosis’ project created in partnership by Actions for Change (Romania) and Artami (Latvia).
‘Mythomorphosis’ is a profoundly visionary project devoted to exploring mythopoetic identity through wholeness and nature-based approach and creative-arts practices - a deeper way of being human rooted in wholeness, imagination and sacred belonging. This is the identity through which we remember ourselves as lovers of this Earth, participants in its ongoing becoming.

🌘 Myth is never “just a myth.” It’s time we let go of this dismissive expression, which deserves to be abolished. Myth is a reflection of the real. Myths come from thousands and thousands of years of deep interrelationality with the workings of the natural world. In this event we will rediscover our love for Myth, not as a distant story, but as an intimate practice that reconnects us - ritually and relationally - to the cycles of the Earth.

In this two-day event you will walk the ancient holy grounds of myth with modern feet.
🌑 On Saturday (February 7th), your guides, Rooted Vulture and Deer Ryder, will conjure a container where a particularly potent myth -one that will be revealed only to those who gather- will be invited through performative and enlivened storytelling, somatic exploration, artistry, trance and collective enactment. We will dismember the myth with devotion and curiosity to understand and grasp its ancient wisdom, as we will dismember and re-member ourselves.
🌒 On Sunday (February 8th), the focus will be more on sprouting our own “personal” myths from the fertile collective mythic soil. We will stay tall within the creative tension of many questions, as they slowly spin the mythic thread that will guide us. We will explore the possibility of living as mythic archetypal characters with divine powers embracing life with responsibility and dedication to fulfilling our Soul's desire in service for Earth and the greater web of life.

🌓 Participation in both days is recommended in order to experience the journey in its fullest form, as a complete arc of transformation - from universal to personal myth and back to the universal. However, each day is designed as a self-contained journey, whole and complete in its own depth and meaning. It is therefore possible to attend only on February 7th or only on February 8th, and in any of its forms, the event will offer its gifts fully to those who choose to answer this call.

💫 Your Guides and Storytellers:
Rooted Vulture (Sandra Horea):
Rooted Vulture is in a passionate love affair with wild depths and generative deaths. She is a mythic artist - devoting herself to creating and holding spaces of transformation where images, dreams, eroticism and whisperings of Soul and Mystery can move, emerge and feed the gods and goddesses. A priestess of ancient ways wearing the garbs of a modern soul guide.
Her artistry is to listen for what is ready to die, so that deeper love may emerge.
Her work is rooted in her 10-years of experience training and apprentice-guiding as a Soul Initiation Guide (SAIP) for the Animas Valley Institute, a nature-based mystery school based in Colorado, under the mentorship of renowned founder Bill Plotkin and other highly experienced senior guides.

Deer Ryder:
Rooted in the American Southwest, Deer Ryder devotes himself to the mystic-heart of language, the wilds, and sacred art. As novelist, playwright, poet-storyteller and ritual performer, Deer labors to make beautiful prayers that feed the wilds and unseen.
As a wilderness and rites-of-passage guide, Deer has years of experience guiding wilderness quests and solos, as well as designing and leading diverse programs and expeditions from the high mountains and deserts of the American Southwest to the coastal mountain ranges of Colombia.
For the past 7 years, Deer’s primary lineage has also been with the Animas Valley Institute as a Soul Initiation Guide (SAIP) facilitating Wild Mind and Soulcraft programs, trance states, eco-somatics, guiding wilderness fasts and rites of passage.

The event will take place at the Wisdome Culture Lab (25 Emil Isac Street, Cluj-Napoca). Further details will be shared after registration is confirmed.

The event will begin promptly at 10:30 AM and finish at 14.00
