Alchemy Singing Bowl Sound Bath (Encinitas)

Sound and vibration has the ability to align the heart with the body, mind, and spirit. The sound can act as a gateway into the soul, bringing forth parts of us that need to be healed, and creating awareness of the aspects of ourselves that need to be seen or heard. This can be such a loving journey, enveloped in a sacred space, blessed by the alchemic sound bowls. The sound can be experienced as a deeply introspective journey or simply an invitation to relax.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• We ask that you arrive into the space calmly and quietly.
• Arrive 15 minutes before the session to allow time for sign in as well as settling into the space.
• Be mindful if participants are actively relaxing before the sound bath.
• Be respectful of the healing instruments in the space, and ask for assistance to fully explore them.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

The Sacred Sound of the Soul has a handful of props for use but we encourage you to bring your own. Here is a list of common items people bring to a sound bath:

• Yoga mat to lay on
• Blankets to cover-up
• 2 Pillows or bolsters to prop head and knees
• Sleeping mask or light scarf to lay over your eyes
• Comfortable clothing

NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR?

Participants typically choose to experience the sound bath lying down. However, if sitting is preferred, we have folding chairs available. Or feel free to bring a quiet and comfortable chair of your own. We ask participants to arrive 15 minutes in advance to set up as to not disturb those who are getting settled in the space.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM A SOUND BATH

A sound bath is where the physical body is immersed with sound frequencies carried out by various instruments such as Singing Bowls, Chimes, Harps, and Flutes. Each instrument is tuned to a frequency that corresponds to a specific chakra. Chakras are energy centers located both inside and outside of our body. The sound vibration assists in clearing any stagnant energy being held within targeted areas of the body, chakras or auric field. This process can assist with rebalancing the nervous system as well as strengthening the connection to self and spirit.

Sound baths last sixty minutes from start to finish and begin with a guided meditation focused on centering the body through imagery and breath work. Once the participant is in a relaxed state, I will begin the journey into sound, gradually bringing in various instruments to support a unique sound experience.

After, the sound experience, the remaining time is spent in Shavasana, lying in stillness and silence. This is an important time to allow the body to fully integrate with the light and sound vibrations it has received. The final aspect of the session is focused on awakening the body and senses through various grounding exercises.

What's the refund policy?

Is my ticket transferable?

Tickets are not transferable due to the boutique venue. Tickets sell out quickly and we can not guarantee a spot will be available for a following session.

ABOUT THE PRACTITIONER

Sonia Rodriguez has been a student of Sacred Sound Healing for the past three years. In 2019, Sonia has completed a 100-Hour Foundations of Sound Healing Certification through the Soul Of Yoga in Encinitas, California. She draws on prior experience from her many years of teaching and training to create a safe and inviting space that fosters a connection to mind, body, and spirit.
