About this Event
Step into the magic of Alquimias de la Ciudad Perdida (Alchemies of The Lost City) in an unforgettable morning where we talk about Santo Domingo's UNESCO Intangible World Heritage - designated Zona Colonial. This immersive event blends literature, photography, and anthropology through a captivating panel discussion moderated by Giselle Rivera-Flores, featuring author Jose Enrique Delmonte Some, anthropologist Leonardo Nin, and photographer Jaime Flores. With spoken word from former Worcester Youth Poet Laureate Adael Mejia.
Explore the hidden layers of the Ciudad Colonial—its history, culture, and transformation — while experiencing a striking photographic exhibition of its iconic colonial architecture.
Discover the stories behind the stones, the people, and the soul of a city where past and present intertwine.
Join us for a morning of insight, art, and dialogue that will change the way you see one of the Caribbean's most treasured history sites.
This is a collaborative project between Guardians of Traditions and Jaime Flores.
