The Anchorage Jazz Ensemble has a rich 45 year history of providing jazz to the Anchorage community.
The 18 members of AJE perform a variety of big band music from the 40s swing era to the present.
Members of the band are a diverse group, coming from all walks of life from throughout the Anchorage
area. For more than four decades, they’ve been coming together once a week to enjoy the camaraderie of
the big band jazz experience.
