Come see what roller derby is all about at our Fall 2026 Skater Recruitment Event on Sunday, September 20th, 10am-12pm, at Wells Park Community Center. This event is open to ALL genders, ages 18 and up, and no prior skating experience is required.
ABQRD will provide loaner gear if needed, plus water, snacks, and a pizza lunch afterwards. Whether you're looking for a new sport, a way to stay active, or a supportive, inclusive community, this is your chance to roll right into the kickass world of roller derby!

10 am - 12 pm: Arrive a little earlier if you have questions about gear/safety gear sizing and essentials.

🧳Things you’ll need:
🛼Loaner gear is available, but if you have your own gear, please bring it. Quad skates, helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards are required; mouth guard is optional but recommended.
💦Water! We practice outside, and it’s important to stay hydrated.
