FAQs

Is there a deadline to make a purchase? Yes, the deadline is May 20th at 11:59 PM MDT.
What do I get with my parade entry? All parade entries receive two PrideFest access passes for Saturday.
What if I need additional items? You will have an opportunity to purchase additional PrideFest access passes during this registration process.
Can I pick my parade entry location? No. Albuquerque Pride, Inc. will decide placement based on the best fit and check-in time.
Do we need to provide any documents? Yes, you will need to provide a copy of the vehicle operator's driver's license, proof of automobile liability insurance, and vehicle registration for all vehicles used in the parade. You will be directed to this link immediately following registration.
Will parade entries be judged? Yes, Parade entries are judged for creativity, color (rainbow pride colors), use of the PrideFest theme (Your Pride is Showing), and enthusiasm of participants. Awards will be presented at the Albuquerque Pride Festival (PrideFest) on Saturday, June 10th from the Rainbow stage at Balloon Fiesta Field. The float that wins Best in Show will have their winnings donated to the nonprofit organization of their choosing.
Are pets allowed? Yes, but please read the guidelines for specific requirements.

IMPORTANT DATES AND TIMES:

Seminar (MANDATORY): We will send out notifications for seminars available both in person and on Zoom.
Ticket+Pass Distribution (MANDATORY): Time and location TBD. This information will be emailed to all entrants, and Friday, June 9th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Balloon Fiesta field.
Check-in: time is 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 10th. Entry time will be dependent on your type of entry and will be included in your parade packet. New entries are not allowed to register on the day of the event!
Step-off: The start of the parade will step-off at 10:00 AM.
Tear-down: Time is approximately 11:00 a.m. The parade ends at San Mateo and we ask that you find somewhere safe to break down.PENDING
