ADULT CONTEST RULES: At least 75% of the costume must be made by you or commissioned. If you costume is commissioned by another creator please be sure to add their information when you sign up. That will NOT deduct from your scoring at all. We want to give credit where it is due.
Adult single entry will be judged off of CREATIVITY, DIFFICULTY, QUALITY, AND SHOWMANSHIP.
Adult group entry will be judged based off the above in addition too COHESIVENESS AND PREPARATION.
Please be mindful of the audience when choosing your costume. There will be children. Make sure everything is attached properly and no parts are flying off during your time on stage. If you have concerns about whether or not your costume is appropriate please email me at [email protected]
There shall not be any liquid, confetti, or any substances that could cause a mess on stage and your props will have to follow the prop guidelines.
Adult Group entries will have two minutes max on stage and a max of 6 people per group. If you have audio it must be approved before Jan 13th. If you bring audio the day of it will be denied.
KIDS CONTEST RULES: We happily invite kids from toddlers to age 12 to join. Younger children MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Kids costumes will be judged from creativity, quality, and showmanship. Store bought costumes are absolutely accepted.
Parents are allowed on stage with their child if they are too shy.
