Albert Castiglia was tearing up Miami blues clubs when Chicago harmonica legend Junior Wells discovered him in 1996 and made him the lead guitarist of his touring band, a seat Castiglia held until Wells passed in 1998. He has since grown into one of the most decorated names in modern blues rock, winning Blues Music Awards for the albums Masterpiece and I Got Love and taking home 2023 Blues Rock Artist of the Year.

These days he keeps famous company. His Blood Brothers partnership with Mike Zito, produced by Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith, won the 2024 Blues Music Award for Blues Rock Album, and in 2025 the band toured behind an unlikely frontman in Bill Murray. Castiglia arrives fresh off the release of his new album Grits & Glory, and each show brings a full 80 minute set of ferocious guitar from a player Junior Wells himself trusted with the blues.
