Info: Who's ready for some exercise fun??!!... Albany 5K Walk/Run/Jog/Roll is not like any 5K you have ever experienced. We welcome all Walkers, Joggers, and Runners. But this year, we are welcoming Rollers. Skateboarders, Bikers, Cyclists, Golf Carts and Hoverboards are all welcomed to join in Albany 5K Walk/Run/Jog/Roll. An optional group warmup starts at 8:45am and the event starts at 9am. The Walkers, Joggers, and Runners will began at the 9am whistle. The Rollers will begin at 9:10am whistle. All Rollers must yield to every Walker, Jogger, and Runner. The award ceremony is at 9:30am. All participants shall complete the 5K in less than one hour. The Albany 5K Walk/Run/Jog/Roll event ends at 10am. Waivers are required to participate.

Info: Every child wins at Play, Run, And Yell Day! We have four action-packed events modified for children in wheelchairs, physical disabilities, mental disabilities, and no disabilities at all. At Play, Run, And Yell Day every participant receives a participant's medal and double-elimination in their events. Each event is divided into age groups; the 6 - 9 year olds, the 10 -12 year olds, the 13 - 15 year olds, the 16 - 18 year olds, and the over 18 year olds. The four games are Spins, Water Balloon Toss, 20 yard dash, and Fruit By The Foot. Registration starts at 9am. An optional Community Scream Video starts at 9:50am. Scream as loud as you can!!! Spins start at 10am. Water Balloon Toss Starts at 10:45am. Participant and partner must be registered. The 20 yard dash starts at 11:30am. The Fruit By The Foot starts at 12:15pm. Let's be safe and have fun. Minor injuries will be handled at the First Aid Area. Major injuries will be handled by Emergency Medical Services. Waivers are required.

Merging self-health accountability with supportive, like-minded people will create long-lasting health synergy. Together, we can. Together, we will. Registration opens at 12:30pm. Health Seminar Presentations begin at 1pm. Optional health-walk around the block at 2:30pm. Separate tickets are required for Panel Chat: Boys to Men which starts at 3pm. This health event is men only and identification is required. Panel Chat: Boys to Men will supply wisdom and serenity to the aging man while offering guidance and hope to the young bucks. Each event of Albany Health Fair ensures participants a healthier outlook on life.

Well, on March 28th at 4pm we will be in the middle of the street trying to figure it out. This is a non-violent event and weapons will not be tolerated. High School Hype will be heavily policed to ensure everyone has a great time. We ask parents, coaches, staff, and teachers to join, too. High School Hype is a legendary event you don't want to miss. The purpose of this event is exude school spirit with positive energy. To kick it off, we will have a Hype Competition at 5pm between the Parents and the Teachers. Who do you think is more hype? At 5:30pm, the Hype Competition is between Deerfield and Sherwood. At 6pm, the Hype Competition is between Westover and Worth County. The last Hype Competition is at 6:30pm between Monroe and Dougherty. At 7pm, all 229 area code high schools will get hype. Adults are allowed in the Hype Zone. No adults in Student Section.

Info: WE ARE LOOKING FOR ALL OF ALBANY'S ARTISTS! 230 Pine Avenue will host the First Annual Lawn Chair Decorating Competition. This event will showcase the artistic talent that is located in Albany and surrounding cities. The purpose of this event is to boost citizen interaction. Participants will place their assigned number beside their lawn chair. Citizens will use QR codes to vote. Citizens will vote using the participant's assigned number. Set up for participants start at 11:30am. Voting is extended to all from 12pm until 2pm. Results and awards will be given at 2:30pm. Proceeds from admission costs will go to charity.
