Alastair Gordon started performing original material on the Berlin open mic scene in his late teens. Since then, his voice has been shaped into a rich baritone through years of busking and a creative approach to guitar and harmonica shaped by adventurous listening habits. The clearest influences include John Martyn, Charlie Parr and The Felice Brothers. Lyrical content often tackles unconventional subject matter and reflects a life split between South Yorkshire and North Saxony. Leeds musician Lewis Pugh is one of UK music’s prime, and proud, proponents of Celtic punk. Brought up on bluegrass and folk music, he plays traditional music with a vibrant passion and uplifting force with his early influences filtered through his love of skiffle, rockabilly and punk.

Fresh out of school he hit the road and honed his trade on the roads of Europe and America, drawing inspiration from the likes of Flogging Molly, Billy Bragg and Bob Dylan to create a folk music of his own which touches on country, hillbilly and cow-punk.
