The time has come to reveal the full agenda for the Pasefika Youth Development Summit! This is more than a one-time event; it's a day of purposeful dialogue, community-building, and vibrant cultural celebration, all led by our amazing youth leaders. Join us as we learn, engage, and uplift the future of our community.

Here's a glimpse of the powerful day we have planned:
☀️ Morning Session: Building Bridges (10:00 AM - 11:30 AM)
We'll kick off the day with a Summit Briefing, followed by our "Alaska Native & Pacific Islanders Workshop." Our youth will work alongside Professor Maria Williams and the UAA Alaska Native Studies Program to explore our shared histories and foster a stronger bond between our communities.
🍽️ Lunch & Dialogue: Our Voices, Our Future (1:30 PM - 4:00 PM)
After a refreshing lunch, we'll dive into a critical "Current Affairs Dialogue." This session will focus on the growth of the Pacific Islander population in Alaska, addressing health disparities and systemic barriers in the justice system. The discussion will be co-hosted by esteemed leaders from the ASD Board, UAA's School of Social Work and Division of Population Health Sciences, the Office of Children's Services, and Alaska Pacific University.
🎊 Evening Celebration: A Feast of Culture & Achievement (6:30 PM - 8:30 PM)
The day culminates in a spectacular Community Celebration! Join us as we honor the completion of our Afterschool & Afterwork Cycle 1 with presentations of certificates and awards. Enjoy special cultural arts performances from our talented youth, followed by a Reception Buffet Dinner. It's a true dinner-and-a-show to celebrate our collective success!
