About this Event
(The early show sold out, so adding a late show!)
After his recent divorce, Alan Irwin found himself navigating the uncharted waters of single adulthood, tackling maturity for the first time in his life. They say you’re never too old to grow up, and Alan will either succeed in becoming a well-rounded adult man, or have a nervous breakdown trying.
“Grow Up!” is a new hour of stand-up comedy from Alan Irwin, a stalwart of the NI comedy scene, tour support for Micky Bartlett and Dave Elliott, star of BBC NI’s “Soft Border Patrol” and “Johnny Tombola: Out Now!”, and frequent guest on podcasts such as Shane Todd’s Tea With Me.
“Funny as f***!” – Micky Bartlett
“Alan’s misery is always funny to me” – Shane Todd
“Hilarious. Always. One of my absolute favourites” – Dave Elliott
“Northern Irish comedy’s best kept secret” – William Thompson
"Major player in the making" - Culture NI
"Hit the audience hard and often" - Chortle
With support from Ronan Linskey.
