COURSING ABILITY TEST
Open to all AKC registered dog breeds, dogs with ILP/PAL registration #s, and All-American dogs listed in the Canine Partners Program. Dogs must be at least 12 mo of age.
300 yard Course: This distance is for dogs shorter than 12” at the withers or brachycephalic (flat-faced) dogs. A dog must complete this course in less than 1 ½ minutes.
600 yard Course: This distance is used for all dogs that do not run the 300 yrd course. A dog must complete this course in less than 2 minutes.
Veterans (dogs 7 yrs and older): Run 2/3 the length of the course they’d normally run if they were younger. 200yds or 400yrds.
RIBBONS All passing runs will receive an orange qualifying ribbon.
