Doors will open at 6:30 PM. The show will begin at 7:00 PM. For the matinee show, the doors will open at 11:30 AM and will begin at 12:00 PM. Please have your tickets ready at the ticketing table. Pre-sale will end an hour before the show starts. At the door tickets will be available for $25.

About PCN

The Pilipinx Cultural Night (PCN) is a program that has been a longstanding tradition for many Pilipinx American organizations throughout the United States. For SJSU, this is our 36th anniversary. For two nights and one matinee show, PCN will showcase our members through the expressive arts, including but not limited to cultural, contemporary, and modern dances; band & choir; acting & scriptwriting in addition to our behind-the-scenes operations like programs, attires, tech & props.

PCN 36: This Is Why follows the journey of a Pilipinx American as he balances the responsibilities to his family and to that of his own heart. By unraveling the truth of labor, sacrifice, and love, watch as he goes from the silent struggle of dealing with his familial and personal burdens alone to embracing in the strength of those that love him.
