“Akasha” is a Sanskrit word representing the sky, the ether, or the vast space that holds everything in the universe. It is the canvas upon which all elements exist, the sacred silence that makes room for every note to breathe, and the stillness that allows sound to exist. For some time, this vision has been blooming in the quiet, and this year, we have decided to let it unfold. Akasha is a conscious gathering of souls. It is a space inspired by the resonance of the Handpan, the depth of world music, and the boundary-pushing energy of fusion art. Here, music is not just for listening, it is a medium for expression and a bridge that brings us together, whether through the movement of dance, the stroke of a brush, or the vibration of a note.
The Vision: Art as Medicine
In a world that can, at times, feel distracted or chaotic, we believe that community and conscious living are essential acts of self-care. The wellness element of Akasha is inspired by a core pillar of "Sonic Pills” - intentionally curated sonic experiences to promote relaxation and share messages about awareness, mindfulness, and positive notes about life.
By integrating the flow of Yoga, the stillness of Meditation, and the energy of drum circles, we offer programs to help you anchor yourself and feel connected with the community in this space. It is an invitation to journey toward the inner self, finding the steady ground needed to simply breathe and feel more free.
Our Evolution
This festival is the natural growth of a journey that began in the heart. Following the 2025 concert, "A Sonic Pill" by Philoso7her, which began as a solo vision but blossomed into a vibrant tapestry of collaborations and a collective celebration of music and dance, we realized the time was right to expand.
What started as a shared moment of music has now evolved into a full festival experience. At BluPrint Toronto this vision has been blooming for some time, and we are truly blessed to be supported by a circle of friends, family, and high-vibrational energy that has made this transition possible. This is more than a festival; it is a pulse - a reminder that we are all connected in this vast, melodic space.
