AKA Alpha Rho Omega "The Block Party of the Century"

The “Block Party of the Century” will be held on Sunday, September 11, from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

We will have a DJ and entertainment, including step and stroll performances by local members of the Black Greek Lettered Organizations, also known as the Divine 9. There will also be yoga, hustle instruction, dance contests, card games, raffles, spoken word, a 9-11 tribute 360 photo booth, and more.

A children's activity area will be available with the make-and-take crafts, games, contests, face painting, balloon art, free book distribution, and hands-on STEM activities by Code 313.

Food Trucks include Eman's Kitchen, Heavenly Chicken and Waffles, The Lobster Food Truck, and an Ice Cream Truck.

The Hispanic DCDC will host a vendor area on their lot, including local multicultural vendors and community partners. Some confirmed vendors include Tauntus, ForHer, and Monique Woods Insurance Agency

There is plenty of free parking on Trumbull, Lafayette, and Fort Street.

Additional activities are being added, there will be something for everyone!
