The Tucson Jazz Society presents AJ & the Black Jacks 21 (aka AJ & Friends) on Sunday afternoon, August 31, 2-5. AJ will entertain you with selections from the Great American Songbook and mix in some spicy Latin tunes. The Black Jacks will feature Matt Mitchell on guitar, Thoger Lund on bass and Ross Freund on drums.
Brother Johns will be serving their BBQ, salads, appetizers and more along with an extensive beer menu, wine, cocktails and a choice of non-alcoholic beverages. This is a family friendly event, so don't hesitate to bring along the kids!
There's room for dancing, too. So if you can't sit still when the music starts, be sure to wear your dancing shoes! Invite a friend or neighbor to come along and have fun with us! s
