Folk, blues, & more! This month AJ will host his good friend and super guitarist Dan Gjelten, and may meet up with a few of his bandmates from Wilkinson James for a few songs during his part of the afternoon. Fingerpicks, hot licks, no dirty tricks! Music from 3-5 PM, no cover charge, and free parking. C'mon out and let the blues be your cure for the November greys!Here's some info on Dan if you don't already know him or his music:
Dan Gjelten has been playing acoustic fingerstyle guitar since he was fourteen, living in Iowa and copying Peter Yarrow and Paul Stookey. Since then, his primary inspirations have been Doc Watson, John Fahey and Leo Kottke. He plays several of his own arrangements of hymns, though he is not religious.
