Founded on the sweet nostalgia of delta blues, AJ & The Woods elevates roots rock to a new height. Their distinct sound features striking female vocals and intricate guitar melodies organically blending passionate folk, rock, and blues music. Voted Best Folk Artist at the 2023 Cleveland Music Awards, they play extensively throughout Ohio and the greater region. AJ & The Woods has performed as direct support for international acts such as, Chase Rice, and at major music festivals including, Bellwether Music Festival (Waynesville, 2018 & 2019) and Brite Winter (Cleveland, 2018 & 2019). Established by singer Alison Tomin and guitarist Joshua Alan Collins, AJ & The Woods released their first self titled EP in 2017 and their first full length album "Stay Steady" in August 2022. bringing you one of the most unique and articulate sounds to date.
