AiX is a brand-new, one-day, single-track conference at the intersection of AI and Design — the first of its kind in the North East of England. Join designers, product teams, founders, and curious minds at The Catalyst on Newcastle Helix to learn how real product teams are actually using AI in their work.
Tools, workflows, and expectations are evolving faster than teams can adapt. Design is no longer just UI, Figma, and the double diamond — it now spans systems, agents, prompts, and AI-assisted design tools. There's no playbook, and everyone is experimenting in isolation. AiX exists to change that.
The day covers three areas:
🛠 AI in Practice — how product teams are designing with AI today: real workflows, real tools, real constraints
🧩 Adaptive Design Systems — moving from static systems to AI-driven, adaptive ones
🔮 The Future Designer — what the designer's role becomes as the craft is redefined
