AISES Educator Day

Every great design begins with a single thread. 🧵
We’ll gather as educators committed to weaving innovation into teaching and learning—honoring culture, expanding access, and reimagining what’s possible for every student.
Together, we’ll explore the threads that make this work real:
🔹 Building Indigenous STEM pathways from classroom to career
🔹 Bridging two ways of knowing through ethnostory and culturally grounded science
🔹 Indigenizing mathematics through community and land
🔹 Expanding access to computer science and financial literacy for Native students
🔹 Opening pathways to higher education and strengthening Indigenous representation in STEM
🔹 Reaching students across cultural distance with humility
🔹 Discovering classroom tools that ignite curiosity and possibility
This is more than a day of sessions. It’s an invitation to connect, be inspired, share what we’re learning, and help shape what comes next. Generously supported by The Lemelson Foundation.
Because the most powerful transformations in education are woven—not imposed.
The loom is set. 🧵
Let’s begin.
