The kid's gala was created to be an enchanting afternoon for the entertainment and delight of children ages 2-10, and all others still touched by magic. Join us on Sunday, January 25, 2026 1-4pm, at The Town & Country Centre. All attendees are encouraged to dress up in pirate or princess-themed costumes. "Dress as anyone you want to be, or just be who you are."
10+ famous fairytale princesses & perfectly pleasant pirates to sing, dance and interact with the kids the entire gala.
DJ & live entertainment including magician, kids' games & several activity stations that include: face painting, crafts, temporary tattoos, colouring & hair salon.
Look for the new activities in 2026! A light, buffet-style meal is available during the entire gala.
Airdrie's Annual Pirate & Princess Gala also serves as a FUNdraiser for local, registered children’s charities through a silent auction, raffle and 50/50 draw. Door prizes and kiddo take-home loot bags are part of the fun.
The 'Gala Gang' of an ad hoc organizing committee, that's been hosting the kids' gala, has reorganized & become a federally registered Non-profit Corporation. The event remains similar, but the fundraising is now mandated to focus solely on registered Children's Charities.
This year A HEART FOR CHILDREN FOUNDATION INC. is the beneficiary of the FUNdraising. A Heart for Children is "The little school with BIG heart." Working with very young children with developmental delays and disabilities. Within the Creating Futures Daycare & Preschool at 800 Yankee Blvd, Airdrie.
