The 5th annual Queer Prom is here! In 2026, we find fun, friendship and celebration in the most unlikely of places - deep Under the Sea!
A magical world awaits! This free event is for YOU, the incredible 2SLGBTQIA+ youth of Airdrie and surrounding areas. Your chance to make waves is here!
We’ll have a live DJ spinning all your favourites, our ever-popular photobooth ready for your close-up, and a cozy quiet room with colouring pages, fidget toys, and cooling fans for anyone who needs a sensory break. Come as you are, and take the night at your own pace.
Queer Prom is a celebration of joy, community, and unapologetic authenticity. It’s a night to connect with your chosen family, make memories and sparkle like the waves on the sea! Enjoy a meal, snacks and beverages all included in your free ticket!
This is your space, your prom, your moment.

Date: Saturday, June 6th, 2026
Time: 6 -11:00 PM
Location: Boys and Girls Club Airdrie (200 East Lake Crescent)
Attendees: Grades 9-12 from Airdrie and surrounding area. On May 23, any remaining tickets will open up to all the 2SLGBTQ+ youth of Alberta.
Dress: This event is semi-formal to formal. Dress as your best, authentic self! Feel free to include any magical elements to your outfits :)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
● Your ticket must be presented for entry into the event
● There will be change rooms on site
● There will be a bag and coat check on site
● No alcohol, drugs or smoking/vaping. We want to ensure the event is comfortable for all
attendees.
ACCESSIBILITY
● Wheelchair accessible
● Inclusive washrooms (i.e. one with urinals and one without urinals)
● Seating will be available
● This event will have loud background music (ear plugs and a quiet room will be available if needed)
