Air Age Blueprint: a conversation about AI, shamanism, and the future of consciousness with K Allado-McDowell
About this Event

On Friday, February 3rd we will be hosting K Allado-McDowell, who will read from their brand new book, Air Age Blueprint (Ignota), which they co-wrote with GPT-3. A speculative tale of a California filmmaker who encounters the world of Peruvian shamanism, the book is a fascinating follow-up to 2021’s oracular Pharmako-AI, which was the first book published in collaboration with the large language model. Allado-McDowell, who established the Artists + Machine Intelligence program at Google AI, will then join in conversation with author and Alembic co-founder Erik Davis. Expect the conversation to range from human-machine poesis to entheogenic futurism to technological animism.

K established the Artists + Machine Intelligence program at Google AI. They are a conference speaker, educator and consultant to think-tanks and institutions seeking to align their work with deeper traditions of human understanding.
