A.I.M: Advise, Inspire, Motivate

A.I.M is a conference held by youth, for youth in order to guide and inspire young individuals ages 12-18 in discovering their path and pursuing their aspirations. A wide range of speakers (from graduate students to professors) in a variety of different fields (Law, Medicine, CS, Education, Business) will share their personal experiences to answer YOUR questions and provide insight in navigating school, the workforce, and beyond. A.I.M will include a resource fair with booths from local clubs and organizations for under-resourced youth to get involved with, from social advocacy, to community service, to college application help! A.I.M will also include several workshops that serve to develop real-world applicable skills for attendees, including resume writing, youth advocacy, interview skills, interpersonal skills and more. Our goal is for attendees to leave not only with answers to their questions, but also with new knowledge and skills. Whether it's learning the best practices for job interviews and resume building, or figuring out which career path to pursue, we want to provide guidance. Our aim is to empower those who feel directionless about their futures, with insights and resources necessary to set and achieve goals. By the event's conclusion, participants should feel equipped to take concrete steps toward meaningful personal, academic and/or professional development.
