Hot on the heels of Summer School, Bristol South Aikido Dojo is hosting a seminar on aikido weapons. We will be learning a short kata, then picking it apart and looking at it in different ways to see what can be learned from it. If you came to Summer School and enjoyed what you saw of the bukiwaza there, this is a good chance to follow it up (and if you missed it, here's your opportunity to get some extra training in!).
The seminar is system-agnostic and largely self-contained, so practitioners of any aikido style (or even non-aikido styles!) are welcome. Beginners, too, are very welcome to attend - even if you've never picked up a stick before, you should get something out of this course.
Please bring your own weapons if you have them, but don't worry if you don't - the dojo has quite a few spares.
Usual seminar fees: £20 or £15 unwaged/student, £10 under 18s.
