AIER Dinner Conversation: Lab School for Spokane?

The next AIER (Alliance for Innovative Educational Redesign) Conversation will focus on lab schools. The central questions examine the structure of Lab Schools, how to foster innovative practices, and university partnerships; with the intent of seeing the viability of starting a Lab School in Spokane.

Goals of Conversation:

- Generative discussion - Brain-storm possibilities - Definition- Potential Outcomes - Fun

Big Picture:

- What is or can be a Lab School?

- What does Spokane need now from a Lab School? Why?

- What could a Lab School offer to the Spokane regional educational ecosystem?

- How can the university partnership be formed in different ways to create different levels and types of support and innovative practices?

- Who might be potential partners in this endeavor?

Format: This will be a generative conversation around a big table - dinner and beverages provided.

Cost is $10.00 to help cover the cost of the dinner.
