AIAF Closing Weekend: Happy Hour @ WCC Downtown

We're toasting the end of Austin International Art Fair! To celebrate, WCC will be hosting afternoon happy hours on Saturday 10/23 and Sunday 10/24 from 3-5pm at the Downtown gallery to fête Brittany Kaiser x WCC On the Wall, our NFT art collaboration with famed data rights activist Brittany Kaiser.

Collectors can sip and savor beer, wine, and cocktails while viewing all the artworks available for acquisition at the Gallery, including rare works from international artists Salvador Dali, Gary James McQueen, Gil Bruvel, Takashi Murakami, Yoshitomo Nara, and more...

Kaiser's curation features Helsinki-based Finnish artist VESA, who is working on a multitude of projects across the globe. VESA has been creating digital works since 2008 and has chosen to mint a select few exclusively for this partnership with West Chelsea Contemporary.

Collectors can view the NFT artworks in person at the downtown gallery, and purchase the NFT's on OpenSea, where they are available at auction through the 24th. A portion of the sale of these works will go directly to the NFTFoundation and their effort to support artists.

Brittany Kaiser shook the world after exposing Cambridge Analytica for harvesting the data of 87 million Facebook users. The firm potentially impacted the UK Brexit referendum and the 2016 U.S. presidential election. She has now cemented herself as a figure in the emerging NFT and crypto spaces by founding NFTFoundation - an organization dedicated to supporting artists through NFT sales.
